About me

I was born in India in 1988. Currently I am living in Germany.

I paint people and ideas that move me. I work with oil color and charcoal. I love to keep the background of my works as abstract as possible, which shows the abstract and uncertain nature of life. On the contrary, to show beauty and hope in life, I paint beautiful figures and faces as my main subject.
My art is a result of my collaboration with the people I paint.
To elaborate further on that I would say that when I decide to paint someone, I always allow them to bring out their idea and understanding of themselves.
Then I combine it with my idea of how I perceive them, or also if I had any narrative in which they fit. I like to spend a substantial amount of time with people before I paint them so that I can learn them as much as possible. I think that keeps my work and process fresh.
